Just stamps and Ink!

Hi All

Last week I didn't make one single card. I was not in a crafty mood. Then a few days ago I saw this card by Ksenija. I loved it and it reminded me that what I love about card making most is just a CAS design using just a few stamps and ink. I am not a technique crafter. Give me a few stamps and some ink and I am one happy girl! Ksenija blog is Sweet Kobylkin and I urge you to pop over there and be inspired! I chose orange, yellow and green-all lovely citrus Spring colours.

Here is the card I made:

The flower is from Mama Elephant and the sentiment from Uniko-both never been inked before so heading over to Darnell's NBUS challenge #6

I will also add this to the following challenges:

Just Us Girls-flowers
Less is More-citrus

Have a fun filled day x

  4. Sandie, what a lovely floral arrangement you're treated us to today! Smiling! I haven't posted a card in over a week as well...feeling crafty but the blog side of things is overwhelming me! I don't know if I'm supposed to comment on people's blogs AND instagram photos AND FB posts, so the sheer conundrum 'not knowing' (I don't want to stop commenting, but I simply can't visit cards showcased in three different places) what to do has me in a 'stopped and stunned' mode. Advice? Your card has brightened my day; knowing I'm not alone in feeling out-of-sorts helps, too!

    1. Can I offer you a piece of advice? I would comment in one place, which is more comfortable for me and just like in other social networks. If it not a case of a DT responsibilities to comment on blog posts :) We all have overlapping followings in different soc networks. Have a great day!

  5. Just my kind of card. I'm a stamp and ink girl too. Love this. Color combo is fabulous. I haven't stamped in 2.5 weeks since my crafty weekend. Might be another week...although I'm itching to get down to my craft room :)

  18. Sandie, great card! I am so happy that my card brought you back to a crafty mood! And I must say it is different from mine, that what I love about real caseing, there is a personal interpretation, personal style. Thank you, dear, for spotlighting me :)

PS. I wanted to link my card with the gears at Casology as you suggested, but when I went there yesterday I was too late - the spin challenge had already closed!!!! And I planned to link my NBUS#6 aeroplane card there, too!!! Too bad, hey - next time I'll be on time!!!!!

  27. You might not be a technique crafter, but with different colored inks and a few stamps you're able to make the most fantastic CAS cards. You've got a great eye for how to make a card look outstanding with colors and a carefully planned layout.
